Review: Deadly Wolf by Ashlee Sinn

What did I just read? I have no idea how I found out about Ashlee Sinn but she is becoming a must-read author. Full disclosure, I didn't read the blurb. I recommend readers to go into this book cold and experience it fully. It is a short novella that is a prequel to the Green Mountain Pack series. Now I am going to have to pick up that series and read it all.

Analicia is a mother who will do anything for her son. This prequel to the 2 book (so far) series packs a punch. As a reader, we get a feel for Analicia and we are completely invested in her situation. It is clear that something happened before her current happy life.

For such a short story, several key events happen. I am left hanging wanting to know more and to see what happens. Mostly, I want to know what happens to Jake. This is a tightly written prequel that is perfect for those who haven't read The Green Mountain Pack books. I am also going to guess it works well for those who have read it and want to know the back story. I am now invested and need to see how Jake turns out. Recommended to paranormal readers who enjoy angst and sacrifice.

* I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
