Review: Dirty Sexy Bastard by Laurelin Paige

★★★ #DirtySexyBastard @LaurelinPaige

Elizabeth Dyson seems to be the only child to a billionaire who collected wives and then proceeded to toss them away. She didn't know her father well but it seemed so many others looked up to him and admired him. When he passes away, she thought she would run his company. Instead... he hands it to a cousin who will destroy it.

This is a short story to set the stage for the duology of Weston and Elizabeth business marriage. This short story is a bit of a teaser. There are some interesting characters and it doesn't seem to be either Elizabeth or Weston. Perhaps this is because it is a spin-off to the original series Dirty Filthy Rich men.

As shorts go, this one is a quick and enjoyable read. It is easy to understand Elizabeth's anger and frustration. I am intrigued enough that I want to read the next two books. I like finding new authors and new to me Ms. Paige seems to be writing in the popular billionaire erotica genre. This is an older book I'm just getting around to so perhaps my view of this fad is a bit dated. For a quick and free read, this is enjoyable. Recommended to erotic romance readers who like a woman scorned theme.
