Review: Heart of Gold by Donna Grant
Love letters are romantic. When they are bound up in a journal and never sent, it is still romantic. This novella is all about Con and his sacrifice of his soul mate to save his people. Learning about how Con wrote his feelings and memories for Rhi is poignant and emotional.
Seeing these two star-crossed lover finally able to see what happened to each other during those hard times brings forth more understanding. It is also painful to see the years that were lost. This story of reuniting is sweet as Rhi has a new perspective of the years without Con. Her response is delightfully fun and sexily sweet. This is a lovely tidbit into their intimate life. This is a nice tide over until the next full novel. I can't wait to see what happens as Rhi and Con take the next step together and seeing their offspring. It is going to be exciting.
Recommended to Dragon King lovers who want a glimpse into the power couple of Con and Rhi.
