Review: Holiday Rescue by Rebecca Zanetti

★★★ ½ @Becca_Zanetti #HolidayRescue

Returning to the Albertini family, this one is actually a cute holiday one all about Quint instead of Anna. A cousin of Anna, Quint is best described as an adrenaline junkie. He makes his job sound super boring and staid. What he really does and what he says he does is totally different. I kind of like a guy who doesn't brag about his awesomeness.

Heather Davis is a well-prepared hiker who finds herself in a dire mishap. Fortunately for her, Quint comes to her rescue with the most adorable rescue dog. Usually, I am not one for sappy instalove holiday romances. This one is so well written and fun to read.

Heather is the one Quint has been waiting for and just didn't know it. Their whirlwind romance ends up with a few odd things going on as well as two stalkers! Well, one is fatal attraction style and the other is, "I don't understand why you don't love me". It is a bit over the top but it works. Balancing the darker aspects of this story is the humour that comes from the Albertini matriarchy. The ones who want this new generation to get hitched and pop out babies. This novella is recommended to romance readers who enjoy holiday themes and Hallmark endings.
