This novella is a sweet fated mate between a human and a dragon shifter. Reading about Ruby and Hannah, it whets my appetite to learn more about this world of shifters hiding amongst the humans.
It is rare for me to find F/f romances. When I find an author who writes sapphic amour, I am excited. I am pleased to say that this second encounter with Author Tape is still good. I encountered her in the Realms and Rebels collection. What I liked about this story is that it focused more on the characters and their relationship rather than their sexual orientation. I like this because it normalizes f/f love.
For Ruby and Hannah, the concern is all about the secret of being a dragon shifter. I do want to read more about the Crescent Lake Shifters series to see how the other shifters work with their mates. This short novella is recommended to readers who like fated mates.
